Among the gods there is none like you, O Lord; no deeds can compare with yours. All the nations you have made will come and worship before you, O Lord; they will bring glory to your name. For you are great and do marvelous deeds; you alone are God. (Psalm86:10)

God’s unique saving action for all peoples to worship God. The day will come when al will bow before the Lord. That is the final judgment. Before that hour, however, God’s call to faith in Christ goes out to all nations. He wants all to know of His saving acts and to believe He alone is God.

We share in that divine call to salvation because we have tasted God’s redemption. God is patient with those who do not know Him. He waits for us to go tell them the gospel story. God’s salvation call to the lost comes through the saved.

Precious Abba, You wait patiently to do that, which should be our desire to accomplish. As Christians, we have been called to go and spread the gospel message of salvation, through Christ, our Lord and Savior. Much like Jonah, we tend to shy away from taking the message you have given us, to take to others in obedience to God’s call for us, Let our courage come from those who walk with me, and lets us go forth in obedience to the call placed upon each of us, and be bold in our proclamation of the gospel message, that other will follow. For it is in Jesus precious name that we pray. Amen

Failure is only failure when we say, “I Quit.

If you will return, O Israel, return to me,” declares the Lord. If you return to m,” declares the Lord. ‘If you put your detestable idols out of my sight and no longer go stray, and if in a truthful, just and righteous way, you swear, As surely as the Lord lives, then the nations will be blessed by and in him they will glory.” (Jeremiah4:12)

God’s call to the lost is always to return. They are to turn to Him —not the church, or to religious exercises, or to themselves in new resolves.

They turn to God Himself. All those secondary things will follow as they answer the call to turn to God. It is in Him they will follow as they answer the call to turn to God. It is in Him they are blessed.

For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea.” (Habakkuk2:14)

Habakkuk saw the day when the message of he gospel would be known worldwide. God’s evangelistic purposes will be realized. This speaks of a great day of culmination, but in the meantime we labor to fulfill the ‘Great Commission’ (Mt 28-19-20).

God works to let his weight—the literal meaning of he Hebrew kabod, glory—be felt among all nations so they may acknowledge to His sovereign authority and power.

Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is he gate and narrow the road that leads to the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.” (Matthew7:13-14)

The call of the Holy Spirit to all is to enter. The doors to the kingdom of God are always open. Our Lore warns that the large masses of people will go down the broad way to destruction.

Most people will reject God’s way of life. The Lord urges us to enter the narrow gate. Few find it, bu it leads to life. One should strive to find the narrow way through Jesus Christ. Those who seek the Lord will find the way.
