“Many other people went up with them, as well as large droves of livestock, both flocks and herds. An alien living among you who wants to celebrate the Lord’s Passover must all the males in his household circumcised; then he may tale part like one born in the land. No uncircumcised male may eat of it.” (Exodus12:38, 48)

When many people are redeemed as wee the Israelites out of Egypt, masses will very often be inspired and follow. This is the power of mass evangelism.

I spent over 28 years working in Texas prisons, and when a call was put out for baptisms, it was not uncommon to have between 125 and 200 inmates come forward to be baptized. Makes you wonder why in our churches, we get only a handful every year.

PRAYER FOR THE DAY:

Precious Abba, As part of the ritual for baptism, a perfect lamb (one who has no injury or imperfection) would be of the ritual of the service, to cleanse the one being baptized of their sins. We no longer sacrifice animals for this purpose of cleansing the individual being presented. Jesus became the sacrifice for our sins. For it is in Jesus precious name that we pray this. Amen

THOUGHT OF THE DAY:

“If you scatter thorns, don’t go walking around barefoot.”

KNOWING GOD:

“You are to distribute this land among yourselves according to the tribes of Israel. You are to allot it as an inheritance for yourselves and for the aliens who have settled among you and who have children. You are to consider them as naive-born Israelites; along with you they are to be allotted an inheritance among the tribes of Israel.” (Ezekiel47:21-22)

God surprised the exiles with His restoration plan which included full citizenship rights for foreign believers.

No one is to be exempted from the household of faith. All who believe become part of God’s family. Our evangelistic ministry must extend to all.

I AM:

“This is what the Lord Almighty says: ‘Many peoples and the inhabitants of many cities will yet come, and the inhabitants of one city will go to another and say, Let us go at once to entreat the Lord and seek the Lord Almighty. I myself am going. And many peoples and powerful nations will come to Jerusalem to seek the Lord Almighty and to entreat him.’ This is what the Lord Almighty says: ‘In those days ten men from all languages and nations will take firm hold of one Jew by the hem of his robe and say, ‘Let us go with yo, because we have hear that God is with you.’” (Zechariah8:20–23)

When the message of salvation is heralded, nations come to hear and seek the Lord. What a responsibility and joy that is. This is the glory of evangelism—and the duty of the church.

SECOND THOUGHT of the DAY:

“And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.” (Matthew24:14)

The gospel will go out to all the world before the end comes. God desires His people to engage in world evangelization. Declaring the gospel to the masses will hasten the day when Jesus comes again.

Beloved, each of us has a different gift, in order to spread the gospel, so use your gift to spread the message and not mine or someone else’s. Your gift will be real to others, because it is your gift effectively.
