“Salvation is found in the no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved.” (Acts 4:12)
Jesus is the only Savior, the long awaited Messiah. His salvation is available to all people. Call upon His name, confess to Him your sins with sincere repentant hearts, and you will find His love, forgiveness, and a loving relationship that will lead you to the kingdom, one day at a time.
PRAYER FOR THE DAY:
Precious Abba, God so loved His people, that He allowed His Son to climb on a cross, having both hands nailed to the cross and his feet nailed one on top of each other and nailed to the cross. He did this that we might be forgiven for our sins and He took them all on. Three days later, He arose again to prove his authority even over death. He did all of this because He loves us. If you haven’t accepted this free gift from Him, do so quickly, and enjoy the fruits of our Lord’s gift. It does does not mean we will have no problems anymore, but it means He will be with us in all events of our lives, good and bad. Amen
THOUGHT OF THE DAY:
“Jesus declared the truth; He never gave opinions.”
“Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, the law of the Spirit of life set me free from the law of Spirit and death. For what the law was powerless to do in that it was weakened by the sinful nature, God did by sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful man to be a sin offering. And so he condemned sin in sinful man. Those controlled by the sinful nature cannot please God. You, however, are controlled not by the sinful nature, if the Spirit of God lives in you. And if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Christ. But if Christ is in you, your body is dead because of righteousness. And if he Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will also five life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit, who lives in you. ” (Romans 8:1-3, 8-10)
“For you did not received a spirit that makes you a slave again to fear, but you received the Spirit of sonship. And by him we cry, ‘Abba, Father.’” (Romans 8:15, 23)
“In Christ is a favorite phrase of Paul’s to describe he multifaceted meaning of salvation. Those in Christ are set free from condemnation caused by sin. Life is life in the Spirit rather than life in the old sinful nature dominated by physical desires. We must still face still physical death because of our sin, but we can count on resurrection and eternal life because God has made us right or justified (Greek – dikauiosune).
SECOND THOUGHT of the DAY:
“We know that we live in him and he in us, because he has given us of his Spirit. And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent his Son to be the Savior of the world. If anyone acknowledges that Jesus is he Son of God, God lives in him and he in God. And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in him.” (1st John 4:13-16)
Beloved those in Christ know they live in God and He lived in them because of the gift of the Holy Spirit. We as Christians are the ones who bear witness that God sent Jesus Christ as the world’s Savior and who confess that Jesus is he Son of God. We who are focused on Christ live in love because we live in God who is love. We know and rely on God’s love revealed in His Son. To be in Christ, then, is to be in God and to live a life-style characterized by divine love,
